Karsten Martin

Undergraduate Researcher

I am originally from Bettendorf, IA, but moved to Iowa City to pursue a degree in Human Physiology on the pre-medical track at the University of Iowa. During my time as a learning assistant for Principles of Chemistry II, I found a passion for chemistry education and wanted to expand my understanding of student interactions. I heard about the Cole Research Group and realized that it would be the perfect way for me to stay involved in chemistry education and student discourse. Outside of school and research, I spend my free time playing volleyball both competitively and recreationally.
