We are proud to announce that Leslie has successfully presented her second-year seminar titled "Looking for evidence of metacognition in undergraduate chemistry student reflection."
Evidence found that instructors need to provide structured supports for students if they want them to engage in metacognition throughout their activities. Additionally, if we want TAs to provide this support, they need to be instructed on how to provide metacognitive supports.
We are so proud of Leslie and all she has accomplished throughout her short time within the group. She will be heading off to Argentina for the next two semesters to teach English through her Fullbright Fellowship that was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will miss her but cannot wait to see what else she accomplishes!
