Promoting Active Learning in Analytical Chemistry
This collaboration with Thomas Wenzel (Bates College) is designed to examine the effectiveness of professional development workshops and follow-up activities to support the sustained implementation of active learning materials in analytical chemistry. The goal of this project is to characterize and refine a faculty development process that leads to meaningful and sustainable change in the way faculty members teach, emphasizing adoption of active learning experiences in which students are engaged in their learning.
