Biography

B.S. Chemistry Teaching, 2019 University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire

A native Wisconsinite, I am originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. I attended University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, for my undergraduate, where I obtained a chemistry degree and a teaching license. While at UW-EC, I had the opportunity to conduct research in the fields of Chemical Education and Organic Chemistry. My passion to continue in the field of Chem Ed at the University of Iowa stemmed from my experiences teaching 6 -12 grade as well as wanting to improve student learning in the field of chemistry. When I am outside of academia, you will find me biking, hiking, playing violin, and figure skating.
